I really like unusual places and unordinary museums. I have visited several such places already (ex-ICBM base that is now a museum tops the list), and I was glad to discover very unusual museum here in BC.
I decided to broaden my blogging horizons a little bit and start shooting some video! Here is a first video. The opportunity was perfect – after dark, rainy and snowy days – sunny and warm Monday on a long weekend! Could you wish more for a road trip?
This weekend’s road trip brought me to a small resort town of Harrison Hot Springs. Beautiful little town and amazon park on a lake shore. I bet in summer it is ever more awesome!
As you already know, I really enjoy observing nature, especially sunrises and sunsets. In my opinion, one of the best place to see it is on a shore. Last summer, I enjoyed a beautiful sunset in Maryland, on Cape May. On a Christmas Weekend I discovered a really nice place near Vancouver to enjoy a sunset. It is a beautiful small beach at Whytecliff Park, here is a time lapse video! Best seen fullscreen in HD.
Despite cloudy and rainy weather I still decided to continue my exploration of amazing city called Vancouver. Here are some photos from onf of the top Vancouver attractions – the Vancouver Seawall.
When I just moved to Vancouver, people told me that it never snows in Vancouver. Don’t believe it, it’s not true! Last week has been pretty snowy in Vancouver and today the snow was falling all day. The temperature is around zero celcius, so most pf it immediately melts. Anyway, white Vancouver seem to be quite uncommon. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy!
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) has recently been named the best airport in the world! It has handled over 20 million passengers in 2015 from all around the world, it has a very easy and convenient layout, decorated with beautiful aboriginal sculptures and even has an aquarium! What an interesting place to visit!
Last week’s traditional Saturday trip took me to the south of Vancouver. I have been to north and east of Vancouver, I was curious to see what lies south of our great city.
