I left my stuff at hotel and went to explore the city. First, I went to the waterfront that is just 2 blocks from my hotel. What a great feeling it is just to walk near the ocean, breath salty fresh air. I miss it a lot in Montreal (I grew up on shores of Black Sea).
The next day was totally opposite. In New York is was a rush to see as much as we could in a single day. The next day, we took it slow. Instead of crazy pace in NY, it was a slow cruising down a highway. In a Cadillac!
I woke up super excited. I was going to see the city that millions dream about. Many consider New York as a center of our world. Is it definitely the biggest business, financial and cultural center of North America. Thousands of movies shot there, books and songs written about it, documentaries shot. The next morning brought sunshine. However in a concrete jungle of Toronto it was not always easy to tell. To me it seems that some streets never receive a sunshine because of highrises.
What is my favorite spot in Montreal? There are several. One of them, is a place beloved my all montrealers, the Mont Royal.

Canada is a place where my dreams come true. Earlier this month I had another dream coming true in a very unexpected way. I have always dreamed about visiting USA. I have dreamed about riding the Route 66, seeing Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, endless plains of Texas. But quite unexpectedly I had a business trip in the far northwestern corner of the lower 48 – Seattle.
One thing that really impress me and that I like about Canada is that people go out of cities for a weekend. And even more I like the widespread of RVs. You can see any kinds of them on the road, starting from small tent trailers and up to half-million dollar motor-homes. I totally love this travel style. But what makes me rise my eyebrows is travel style of some RV travelers.
