I recently had another great opportunity to spend a couple of days in the United States and discover more interesting places in this amazing country.
I continue to learn local traffic and roads. I am no longer amazed by elder ladies driving huge pick-up trucks, no longer turn my head when I see Lamborghini. But still some situations make me raise my eyebrows.
The next day was totally opposite. In New York is was a rush to see as much as we could in a single day. The next day, we took it slow. Instead of crazy pace in NY, it was a slow cruising down a highway. In a Cadillac!
I woke up super excited. I was going to see the city that millions dream about. Many consider New York as a center of our world. Is it definitely the biggest business, financial and cultural center of North America. Thousands of movies shot there, books and songs written about it, documentaries shot. Canada is a place where my dreams come true. Earlier this month I had another dream coming true in a very unexpected way. I have always dreamed about visiting USA. I have dreamed about riding the Route 66, seeing Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, endless plains of Texas. But quite unexpectedly I had a business trip in the far northwestern corner of the lower 48 – Seattle.
I spent last week outside of Canada, so that’s why this week the photo will show something else. It shows one of the most amazing cities of our neighbor to the South: Seattle.
